Our owner began her automotive career in 1999 as a secretary at AAMCO. She became a manager, then a head technician, and eventually bought the franchise she started out working in. When she relocated to Middletown, Dail Transmission and Total Car Care was born.
Since 2020 we’ve been doing first-class work at fair prices for Orange County. Our specialties are engine and transmission repair — including full rebuilds — but we also handle brakes, diagnostics, suspension, tires, A/C, electrical, exhaust and routine maintenance on every make and model.
We run specials and repair packages because we’d rather earn the next visit than squeeze this one.

The front office
We’d rather explain something twice than have you leave confused. As a woman-operated shop we especially want our female customers to feel at ease asking questions — no talking down, no mystery invoices, no pressure to decide on the spot.

Our team has worked together for more than 24 years. That continuity is why a hard transmission job doesn’t get passed down the line — the person who diagnosed it is usually the person who builds it.
